What is Club Ice?
Club Ice is ice time which is solely for the use of members of GIFSC. It is designed to complement individual coaching sessions by providing, in a group environment, the opportunity to practice and learn new things.Each week one or more coaches, paid for by the club, will be running on ice classes in specific aspects of skating, such as jumps, spins and elements.
Aim
GIFSC organise Club Ice to encourage and enhance the potential of up and coming skaters, young and old.Club Ice time is sometimes used for special club events. Please check the GIFSC web site regularly to see when these events are due to take place.
Format
In order to provide the maximum benefit to all Club members skaters are placed into groups according to ability by the coach in charge. There are usually 3 groups, increasing to 4 groups at busy times of year. The groups will be on ice for a full hour from 6.30 - 7.30 pm. Please arrive in good time to get your skates on and ready to be on the ice at 6.30pm.There is no free trial for new members as the club is not insured for this
